In the end though, as with all great things, there is a major issue with the conference calling service. As it is still reasonably new technology it is hard to police effectively. Private conference calling companies have the freedom to charge anything they please. And because of the ignorance of some customers, they get away with doing so. Clients monitor and dictate the contents of any conference calls they may make. So then they should have equal access to information such as costs and charges for any conference calling services. This is the most negative aspect of the industry. However it is up to you, the customer to decide what services you want and what company you use.

So a quick summery now. For larger corporate organizations the most popular choice is to install professional conference bridge. These services are excellent but come at a very high cost. Then for smaller businesses they get two main choices. The first being the use of landline telephones. These come at an extra cost but nothing like the costs of conference bridges. And finally, my personal favorite, the use of the ever improving instant messaging programs like Skype. More and more people use these messengers for work and personal use. This is by far the cheapest form of conference calling. Any Skype user can speak to another, 100% free. You can’t ask for more then that.
